Tour Summary
Join us for a four-hour trip out to wild dolphin territory off of the Keys on our comfortable catamaran, the modern ECHO. You'll be traveling in a comfortable and stable catamaran with a total of 4 to 14 people, for an uncrowded tour experience. Aside from seeing, and probably sailing alongside a pod of wild dolphins, you will get an hour to snorkel in one of the greatest spots in South Florida.
The Keys have a resident population of dolphins who seem to like catamarans. They often come alongside the boat and swim alongside. We can't be 100% certain of sailing alongside wild dolphins but you can count on seeing them. We offer the only wild dolphin encounter in the Florida Keys.
We always maintain a respectful distance from the dolphins, in accordance with local laws. But we still get to see almost every dolphin behavior. Sometimes they jump and play around. Sometimes they just swim. We even see dolphins teaching their babies how to survive and more. Any dolphin behavior that can be seen has probably been seen by our guests.
Snorkel and swim to get a closer look at the pristine natural environment. We stop at a shallow spot that is perfect for both activities. If you choose to stay on board, you can enjoy the scenery and a cool drink in the shade, on our "Black Beach" sun deck. We always find shallow, sheltered spots where snorkelers can enjoy sponge gardens, coral reefs, and a huge variety of fish and other marine creatures.
You won't get hungry or thirsty either because we provide a great selection of snacks and drinks. While out on the boat you can enjoy water, snacks, beer, and even take your pick from some wine.
The catamaran is a comfortable place to cruise. There is a freshwater shower, a restroom, a stereo with Sirius XM radio, and seating areas in the shade. You also benefit from the local knowledge of our catamaran crew. This experience will allow you to experience dolphins like never before. Will you be in the water with the dolphins?
Since the dolphins are a protected species, we will encounter them as close as possible, from the boat. Often times they're close enough to touch, alongside the boat.
What is the size of the boat?
This sailing catamaran boat is 28 feet. The boat is licensed to hold up to 28 passengers but we never take more than 14.
What is the weather cancellation policy?
If the activity must be cancelled due to bad weather, and you cannot reschedule, you will be issued a full refund.
